1. Program description
(518) Freedom runs a text message program for its volunteers and supporters. It sends ministry schedules, such as Bible study times at the Saratoga, Schenectady and Rensselaer County jails, plus schedule changes and related ministry updates.
2. How you opt in
You receive messages only if you gave (518) Freedom your mobile number and agreed to receive text messages from us. Agreeing to receive texts is not required to volunteer or to support the ministry.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies. You will usually receive 1 message per week, and occasionally more if a schedule changes or is cancelled.
4. Cost
Msg & data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates apply to messages you send and receive. (518) Freedom does not charge for this program.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You can cancel at any time. Reply STOP to any message from us. You will get one confirmation text, and after that you will not receive more messages. To rejoin, reply START or contact us.

Supported carriers include all major U.S. carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send program messages. We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or text opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
